While I am Christian, I have many close friends who walk different spiritual paths. As it happens, two of my friends are expecting children soon. This lullaby was started for one of the couples, since they couldn't be at ConFusion because the expected date was so near. I promised that I'd write a lullaby for them; and we'd record it at the con to send to them so that they would have a song for their new son. As I wrote this, it became just as much Mew and Ed's song as Diana and Bob's.
I love you guys. You're gonna be great parents. *smile*
